Dutch people got bored with reclaiming land from the see in Netherlands and now are going after a bigger challenge. They want to deal with the Pacific Trash Vortex. It’s a floating garbage in the Pacific between Hawaii and San Francisco covering the area of Spain and France combined (or twice the size of Texas). Their plan is to convert the garbage dump into a floating island with area of about 10,000 km2.
