Today a new version of Firefox web browser has been released. It’s version 3.0 which has been available as beta for a while already.
Version 1.0 of Wine has been published today as well. Wine is a compatibility layer for running Windows programs directly in many Unixes, including Linux, FreeBSD, Mac OS X and Solaris.
Firefox team had announced the release date in advance and for some time the website from where you can download the new version of the web browser has been unavailable. Wine website was also down temporarily.
At this moment both websites seem to be up again but one wonders if this was the case of a bigger success than expected…
