This morning I got up at 7 and delayed going to work to watch a fascinating fight that was going to take place at that time. I am not into sports (watching them at least), but this one, I had to report on…
The boxing match
Ladies and gentlemen! cried the presenter from the middle of the ring. Welcome to the fight of the decade! The one you have all (hairy people) been waiting for!
On the right corner… shouted the presenter while a bright light shone on the right arm, I mean, corner …coming all the way from the right forearm, in an otherwise hairless and white skin area, The Blacky Hair!!!!
yaaay! screamed the audience. Hold on to your roots! Hold on to your roots! chanted the crowd, while The Blacky Hair stood proudly, with its 1 cm length and obvious strength, extremely conspicuous among the otherwise thin, weak and scarce hairs in the creamy coloured forearm.
The Blacky Hair, our champion from the last few years will be facing a new challenger tonight! He will be fighting the machine that has been threatening the survival of many other non-sleeping hairs… Ladies and gentlemen!!!! this morning… I bring you… all the way from Rio, showing up now on the left corner of the ring… The Laser Hair Remover!!!
wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! went the excited crowd.
And among the cheering and deafening sounds coming from the audience, The Blacky Hair looked and growled at The Laser Hair Remover, which was noticing the pressure to perform well (aware of its doubtful track so far against other nasty hairs) but nevertheless still feeling confident in its resistance, if not speed, and suddenly it was heard Let the fight begin!
Ting! Round 1, the bell announced…
The Laser Hair Remover after a sneaky scissory move that reduced The Blacky Hair to a 5th of its height, jumped over it and pinned it down for 30 seconds straight! The Blacky Hair, though, having heard about its opponent’s moves, successfully managed to avoid he blunt of the attack and just receive a sided Laser “heat”. The Laser Hair Remover knowing that a second attack in the same area to try to improve its aim would be considered a foul move, backed off, hoping that the first punch will prove to have been enough to burn its opponent to its roots…
Round 2 coming soon…
PS. After this 1st round, The Laser Remover went to practice a bit more, attacking “old acquaintances” in the Bikini Line, practicing its aim and working on improving its success rate.

Hey,
u sure can write very well! i’ve been following your posts religiously….don’t know how on earth you do it i.e: use he RIO and then keep us all posted, again many thanks,
Thanks for the entertaining post,
hoping and praying that it works…
PS: also waiting to read about NONO reviews
Welcome back Anna! You sure know how to boost one’s ego
Thanks for the compliments! Regarding the NONO reviews, The Aymster and I are working on the details of her guest blogger appearances. I am sure she will be glad to know she already has a potential reader
Hoi, we have a beauty, relax sun and sauna center in Belgium. We wanted 2 know if it works? Yes or nO. Can You see any result?
Also did you buy a rio Laser with build in a scanner or one without (single hair)? A laser with scanner can do more hairs at the same time. I was wondering if that works or not?
Btw a pro-version is a very big spending for us profsnls (more than 20.000 - 30.000 Euro/$ and even higher. The time to payback is toooo long. And after 100.000 lightsclicks you have to buy a new lamp (+2000$/Euro). And also had spending a lot money on media. Just to let people known we had a hairlaser.
And a session is very expensive for customers here.
Anyway, succes! ;o))
Hi José, welcome to olivetalks. I see your website for the sauna center in Belgium is just being set up. Let me know when it’s finished, as I am living part time in Brussels now
Regarding the Rio Laser machine, do you mean you are thinking of buying a few and using them with clients? That would be an interesting idea, as it would be cheaper for the clients and less boring than doing it oneself.
As you might have seen from my posts I still feel I cannot say YES it does work or NO it doesn’t work at all. I do see a decrease in hairs overall, but it is less noticeable than I expected. A few posts before this one, someone asked me if they were coming out thinner and I said no, but it turns out they are! A few hairs I thought had stopped growing, are still there, I was just not seeing them because they were thinner.
Anyway, thanks for sharing the info on how much does the machine cost to you professionals. It does explain why it is so expensive to do it at a professional salon!
hey LadyRostand,
i have been reading the NO NO reviews…but what happened with RIO? r u still in the battle zone? any progress? any hopeful results? please post?..please…pretty please:)
Anna~
Actually, I’m a little curious of that myself. Hope it’s going well.
Sorry, I didn’t read hole post, but I want to know does it work?
