What’s your Internet speed?

I’m wondering what’s the speed of the Internet connections used by the visitors to olivetalks. If you agree to indulge my curiosity (and maybe yours as well?) please go to www.speedtest.net and find out your stats. (Note: the website uses JavaScript and Flash.)     Well, lobeznoUK, you win first place on the British Isles for the fastest Internet connection known to man, I mean to olivetalks :) And seriously, your connection is pretty good. Ping times are a bit high so you might have problems playing online real-time games. Beside that it’s quite good.

    My computer went into overdrive and started making weird noises when I tried to test my speed. Apparently, the npviewer.bin process jammed up the processor with 85% usage. The site simply showed an “Undefined.” Maybe it has to do with the fact that my machine is 64-bit.

    Moving to Jena, that could indeed be the reason. I think the Flash plugin has problems on 64-bit machines.
